Les Voix Animées are an ensemble specializing in Renaissance vocal music, and they like to take the audience on a journey through space and time. Today, this journey is dedicated to the rich repertoire of French songs, from Renaissance to nowadays, either being « the voice in the city » (what we call in French « voix de ville ») or singing popular songs, always a cappella. For this soiree organized by the diocesan delegation Magnificat to support Eastern Christians, Les Voix Animées would like to start the concert with a few motets, sacred music from Renaissance…
